She ran as fast as her legs would carry her. With every step he was closer. He moved so effortlessly. He didn’t rush but the faster she ran the closer he was. She couldn’t hardly catch her breath. Her legs were getting so tired. She didn’t feel like she could run another step. Everything was happening so fast. She could feel her legs going out beneath her. She thought to herself, if that happens, I’m done for.
